Senegal: Improving pharmacy staff management

At the initiative of PPM laboratories, the consulting firm Cabinet PMC Group, specializing in transformational leadership and executive coaching in Africa, Europe and the Middle East, conducted training in February on “Team Management for Performance through the ID-PMC People Management Tool” intended for G60 pharmacists in the Dakar region, created by PPM to strengthen the notoriety of its products in this area which represents 40% of the market.

The choice of theme aimed to strengthen the skills of pharmacists to better manage their teams in pharmacies.

Mastery of the approach and the different stages of the ID-PMC People Management Canvas and the use of a battery of practical tools to form strong and high-performing teams were the strong points of this training.

The “Pharmacist-Leaders” were also encouraged to better understand their role through personal questioning, by diagnosing their leadership skills and working on their personal development and that of their colleagues in order to form teams capable of working together. in a collaborative manner towards the achievement of the common objective of the development of the pharmacy.
